Are you looking for locals, or Brits abroad?
The locals have their own sites, and probably wouldn't see the point in joining a site just to meet British visitors. I mean, I don't think we're that high up the global desirability league...
And if it's just other Brits, then "who's near" works fine. |

It would probably be hard for fab to enter many markets, without an increase in staff and costs.
It would be lovely if it did function as well in all of Europe, as it did in the UK. This would need it to recognise all European postcodes, so you could search on others living nearby, rather than whoever just happens to be near when you're online.
With a limited budget, it's probably lower on their priorities. Unless we ask, they won't know we'd like it |
