Why won't all verifications show if people have left fab who were genuine.

I think all verifications should still show up if you choose to show them but just next to their username that they have left fab... Who agrees

Hi op

As you previously posted about this I'd say it's more about the privacy of respecting those whom left

I agree with OP. Consider those who are now being pulled up for things they said on Facebook etc years ago. The fact that you have left Fab is irrelevant.. you were on a public site/forum.

The status quality of the verification is still displayed, so that the key loss is the details of the meet. Many aren't interested in the precise details of a private engagement and the purpose of the verification is primarily to help to confirm veracity and to support you having some reliability. People don't leave overt negative verifications, so we can reasonably assume that having had one, there was a positive engagement.

Having been here for 15/6 years, I'm fine with the likelihood that more of the people I meet will continue to leave Fab. I can live with a summary

You do understand the legal claws that when a person decides to leave nothing shall remain under data protection laws it also applies with Facebook

Data and personal protection aspects means that exact details shouldn't be stored for longer than necessary

No I think it's perfectly fine as it is.

If I decided to leave I don't want any remnants left behind so it's only right that any verifications I've left should disappear.

Half of those who have verified me have left the site so imagine how that would reflect on me.

People would question why so many of my veries were now unlos and if I was the common denominator.

Hi

All apps you may use the developer collects data which you can opt out of at any time same applies with a device hence master reset removes everything on the harddrive on the device making it impossible once overwritten

So if my profile reads 'Verfified by 1 woman, 1 cam' but no personal verification comments and she leaves does that mean I have no verifications?

I agree it's really annoying. A super easy way for the site to overcome it would be to simply change the originator of the feedback to 'no longer on the site'. That way, the original feedback remains, without being identifiable.

The count still remains on your summary so you are still verified but you'll be unable to show the written content of the verification.

Only personal data is protected. The information in the public part of a profile (the info everyone can browse) could legally remain public after the account is closed because it does not necessarily contain personal data and cannot be used to identify an individual. However, some information may actually lead to identify the individual, such as photos, real age. real names in the profile or verifications, so it's safer for Fab admin to wipe it out completely and so avoid potential legal trouble.
