Photo upload

Pictures seem to be taking an extremely long time to upload then as a result are about three to four pages back when being posted on new pics , which isn’t great if you are trying to get new people to notice your profile . Anyone else experiencing this or just us ? Also why is this happening as it never used to be this way and the membership level hasn’t increased that much since we were last one here .

But if everybody's pics are taking a long time it shouldn't effect where you appear on the list. I think what may be happening is a lot more pictures are being uploaded so at any moment in time a lot of more new pictures and they can't all be on page 1.

Saying that I haven't noticed things taking longer than normal. Photo mods are all volunteers so sometimes it might take a touch longer.

I've always though the main way people notice new pics and interact is via the Update Feed where there are generally relatively few new pics but perhaps there are indeed lots looking at new pics from further away.
