"What's the point of viewing someone's profile and then see this? Why can't this be added to the likes of 'won't see single men' and save people from wasting their time?

Profiles already list what people have selected they will meet. You'll also see "not looking for" when they have actively blocked single guys from messaging them. Then there is the great big honking warning when you message someone who hasn't selected your gender and you're outside the age group but they havn't explicitly blocked you.
How many more red flags do you need?! |

I used to put I'd meet smokers but I've changed my mind and now don't, smokers stink sorry no disguising it sorry  |

As a smoker I'm quite sure the "won't meet smoker" is the second lie after "I'm single/my wife agrees" so won't make any difference  |

We get messages from people all the time who have won’t meet smokers on their profile.
Then when we question why they have messaged as I smoke..normally say will make an exception.. ah no thanks |

We get this a lot too! Why even have it on their profile if they’ll make an exception? And that’s just it, with our boundaries we wouldn’t move them just cos we like someone’s pics or think they’re hot so we do question why others would

We get this a lot too! Why even have it on their profile if they’ll make an exception? And that’s just it, with our boundaries we wouldn’t move them just cos we like someone’s pics or think they’re hot so we do question why others would

I always wonder this. Vapers don't smell in the same way smokers do
But I know some people actively hate people sucking on a vape every 4 seconds
So I guess you've just gotta have the conversation at some point perhaps. |

It's frustrating that this happens, because I get the reverse. "You say you won't meet smokers, but everyone makes exceptions". I don't. It's even on my profile  |

Yeah, if I'm meeting I'll have a quick vape beforehand and then leave it in my pocket/on the side and not touch it till I'm alone again, purely out of respect for anyone who does say they won't meet smokers and because people who have their vape attached to their gubs, I just don't understand lol  |

I know it's people's preference but never really got the won't meet smokers thing. I guess some might smell and taste of ashtrays but vast majority don't. I've met people before and not even realised until late a night they go outside to light up. Perhaps my senses are desensitised  |

I get nosebleeds around even the residue of cigarette smoke. It's not super common, but for me that's why - nosebleeds kind of kill the mood |

Yeah. It used to be pretty brutal. But it's not personal in the slightest (some people think it is!) - just don't like getting nosebleeds. |

I think technically it does, I vape but my profile states non smoker. I’m usually pretty upfront about it before a social though. |

very simple go on advance search and filter out what you don't want and then tick won't meet smokers ..and also put won't meet or will meet smokers in bold on your profile |
