For a while, we've often thought the ability to disregard a profile for a few months would be useful
If there were two options of say, three months and twelve months, that would be awesome.
There are profiles that we find; but, for varying reasons, we do not wish to meet at the time. Unfortunately they still show in our searches. Being able to 'disregard' them for a short period would be useful.
It would also help with those who are in your local updates every two hours, but you don't want to block because; for example, you will be interacting with them at an upcoming local social. |

What reason would there be for wanting to hide a specific profile for a few months? Could you not just hide your own or stop using searches for a few months if you aren’t looking to meet?
Seems like an unnecessary additional feature |

Depends what you're searching for...
For example, we visit a particular place every few weeks, and will complete a search of who's nearby.
Some of them are not suitable at that time, but might be in the future. We cannot hide those who are unsuitable at that time.
If we were able to disregard them for a while, they wouldn't show in the searches. |
