How about a function for users to vote on which features they would like to see added for the site owners to CONSIDER implementing and another poll showing which features the site owners are working on that the users can help make the decision on prioritisation?
-suggestions have to hit a threshold by other users before being accepted on the poll
-Only verified (or verified + pair) accounts can vote
-Duplicate suggestions but with different wording can be merged by admins (sorry admins) or have a function for users to suggest a merger that the OP can approve/disapprove but put some type of threshold in place to prevent spamming OP
-polls will have a link to a related discussion thread for everyone to tell them why it won't work...
