Hi all. In our opinion, this area needs some improvement. Trans people are their preferred gender.
Therefore a trans woman is a woman amd a trans man is a man. It's not fair that trans people essentially have to select an entirely seperately gender. Then there's the issue of putting trans people into the same pool as TVs and CDs. TV is a little bit outdated anyway and putting trans people into the same pool is like saying they're just dressing up when they're not. It just feels a little bit discriminatory.
I think when creating or editing your profile, there should be a box you can tick to show if you're trans or not. When searching there should be a box to tick for whether or not to include trans people in your search. CDs could still have their own selection as it seems more about fetish than gender (please don't burn us if we're wrong).
This would also much better help people who are looking to meet trans people or cross dressers as seperating would make it easier to find what you're looking for.
For example: We're seeking women, whether they be cis or transgender. We're not looking to meet crossdressers as its not for us. It's stated in our profile but some CD. people either don't read properly or miss it and message us. We have had more messages from CDs than any other people were looking for and we're not seeking them.
Honestly we don't mean to be rude or offensive at all. Just some feedback that we feel could massively help people find what they're looking for aswell as make the place feel more welcome to transgender folks.

It has been debated loads of times, maybe the site has decided that a Trans person can just identify as the sex they are or transitioning into. As long as their profile text highlights they are post or pre op trans man/woman that’s enough. So just left it as TV/TS as we are a minority group on the site.
Just take the TS out of the category altogether and have it as CD/TV, problem solved  |

We agree! We thought about the user friendly side of it too aswell as how approachable it would be towards trans people so thought it would be good that they pick their gender and then would be able to tick a box if they are trans. It's a short and sweet approach but it was the best idea we had haha! |

Whilst I would also like to see a greater number of options, I have to say that the admin team were really helpful and understanding when it came time to transfer from tv/ts to a woman profile and I know that I’m not alone in that so big thanks to you guys.
It’s been talked about a lot on here, and rightly so in my mind, so I hope in time the owners will give consideration to it as people on here are looking for a vast array of people that the current selection doesn’t necessarily facilitate |
