I think it would be a great idea to be able to have an option to reply like a message direct to folks status updates. Obviously with an option to opt out also. I think this would be a great feature |

What benefit does this have other than saving you from 1-2 extra clicks? Just message the person and reference the status. Site admin are not going to go to the time and expense of bringing it additional site features that have no purpose or necessity. |
