Time limits

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Was looking for a named profile and discovered one that hadn't been logged into for over a year, had virtually no content, and the inevitable silhouette.

Which made me think - if you don't log in to some sites in a long time, your details get deleted. So maybe we should do the same thing here?

Now I know some people take a break from swinging, and would like a profile to come back to, but generally speaking is logging in once a year too much to ask?

Just a thought...

also some ppl have a spare profile they create when they join just in case they have to use that one if other profile gets banned, that way profile looks as if it has been online for ages

i think the same an e mail should be sent out to them asking them to click on a link to re acctivate the account and if they dont reply the account should be deleted saves us browsing through profiles that are not acctive xxxx

I agree with the auto email.. it will also save on the server space for the site owners. Better to have a site with a good amount of active users than a site with millions of inactive users!

All lists are sorted by time online so you'll always see newest first. We are just curious which pages you are seeing inactive users on?

Sometimes one finds oneself at the bottom of the 'browse' list...

I'm not proud of it!

We think thats a very different issue. People can have a profile with no verifications, and no photos but log in every day. Are they more or less valuable to the community than someone with 50 photos, 100 verifications, but that has not logged in for 12 months?

Sorry, still not being clear.

The profile I saw had no pics, no verifications, about 5 words of description, and had not been logged into for over a year.

I agree. People may have many resason for not coming online to this website for a while but one year is a bit too much. Personally I would set it at 6 months. Cleary state when signing up people must log in at least once every 6 months or your account will be deleted

most sites with a high level of interest do have a time limit on whats is termed dead accounts, a warning e-mail is usually sent and if no reaction to it is made the accounts are then susspended, this then clears the site of dead accounts and makes searching easier, because the accounts that do come up are active,i have noticed that on this site when searching there are accounts well over 6months old that haven't been active, and have little or no info in them, these accounts are just cluttering the search's and giving false indication to other user's, maybe accounts that haven't been active for say over 6 months could be excluded from future search's

this is real spooky... we were just discussing this issue after browsing for new friends, we totally agree with all of the above posts, active swingers that actually meet regularly update their profiles to encourage others to get in touch, we understand admin wants a high members number but surely quality is better than quanity? and as server space is at a premium it would be in their interest to have folks that log in regular and not just set up profiles to perv over others sexy pics and text. Bringing in the supporters membership is excellent but we feel in active profiles should be ditched,

Idea....perhaps we should keep reporting dead profiles so admin knows who they are, self regulation by members???
