A compelling idea.
I have a beloved friend who is not block material, but her daily breasts and cleavage updates are having a desensitising affect on my libido. A temporary mute would a_eliorate the situation. |

You see I'm not a proper swinger, I don't look at updates . I do have friends on Facebook that whose updates I've hidden. One is obsessed by a long dead pop star, another by Brexit (still) and another posts such inane things that it makes me want to run screaming into the garden |

"Wouldn’t it be good if instead of hard blocking someone you could just mute them.
I mean we must all have friends who we like but they fill our updates constantly….

Just don’t look at friends updates |

I mute people all the time on various apps - sometimes I don't have the desire/headspace to read them. So yes, it would be good. Or do what I do and ignore the friends updates. Or remove someone when they become too tiresome. |

So everyone suffers for the sake of one overly chatty friend? |
