Not sure how this works but we got a message from a couple saying they think we have been hacked , someone had sent a message saying they want to meet them ,it wasnt us and it doesnt so in the message history
Plus we notice the other day that our profile shows up on a search and that we have liked our own profile ...
Very confused here |

"Sorry it shows we winked at our own profile x"
You can wink your own profile. And message yourself too.
Pretty sure you can't block yourself though.
If the message doesn't show in your sent folder they were probably trying it on. If you'd been hacked then I suspect you'd notice an influx of messages, changes to your profile text and photos and other obvious signs.
If you're worried you an always change your password.

Some will do anything to grab someone's attention even when it's not right |

Sometimes people will say things just to get you chatting.
I've had loads with things like "thanks for your message" or "hi we've not spoken for ages" when I look at their profile we have never spoken as it shows I haven't messaged them before.
I block people who do this. |

A couple of years ago this used to happen quite often but it was followed by claims that peoples pics and details were being shared on a particular chat platform and if you gave them your own k*k details they would forward the screenshots.
Unfortunately many people fell for it and even though they blocked the offender when they copped on they were inundated with messages from random profiles who were either the original person warning them or the people the details had been shared with. |

I can copy everything except your username and set up an identical fake profile in two minutes, check if someone has done that. Unlikely you where hacked but change your password to a nice complex one anyway. I work in IT, even I have been hacked. |

"You both have access to the account?
Perhaps one of you isn't being honest.
" sorry to say this is exactly what happened to me... my wife was making arrangements on our cpl profile for herself... and denied it to me.... |
