Changes to news feed

We've made a couple of changes to the news feed (on web and mobile sites).

1. Images are larger.

2. We've fixed a bug where occasionally images showed up in duplicate entries.

3. On the "local updates" section for new users, it now shows user sex and location.

Sorry, don't see the point in larger pictures at all, all it means is that it takes longer to scroll down to the bottom and I know I am in a tiny minority, but having rsa makes it painful enough as it is, this will make it worse so I probably won't bother as much as I have been

Noooo! Fabswingers has become even less work safe! Skimming through the feed on my phone was always a little risky incase my staff saw. Now it's positively crazy!

Can we have a toggle option for smaller and larger. Pretty please!

I like changes so far, would be good if account type and location could be displayed for all users in the news feed, not just the new users

We could add an option to account page on mobile site to turn off images across the site? We use mobile with images off most of the time.

Thanks admin, the changes are great, the bigger pics are good, no need to come off the update page to try and make out what the pic is, and the age sex for newbies is good.

Sole voice of dissent here it appears.. I liked the original changes a few days back, but today it looks like there is just way too much information on there. Showing black silhouettes next to people who don't have pics, for instance, is just a waste of space and makes for more scrolling, as someone commented above.

My page is now far too busy, IMO...

Sorry, but I preferred the other layout, looked neat and tidy. Now just seems to be bigger photo's amongst bold letters'. Won't go to home page so much now. Too much seperation.

Takes longer to download bigger pics on a mobile device and more scrolling. The home screen looks a bit hectic and confusing. Also as someone else has said, if out in public or at work, risky looking at fab etc.

Goto your account page on mobile, scroll down, turn off images - we added this last week
