Given that being married can be a big no for some people wouldn’t it be a good idea to have a “would consider married” filter on the search?

That would only work if people were honest and most who are married don't admit it on their profile

A user is able to put any information within the bio which folk read along those lines same as those not getting it at home

It would ,but as said people aren't always v honest on here and would lie for sex.

What would help is if more attached /married people read profiles and didn't contact those who state they wouldn't meet them.
