Has anonymous logging in ever been suggested? I have several female friends who say they would love to log in to check their make without being bombarded by more mail . Is it a possibility in the future at all?

Its so off putting when you come online and you have lots of messsges to read....u cant even read them without being inundated with more mail. Also i find that the newest messages come to the front if th cue leaving older messages less likely to get read and replied to. Would be great to have an anoynomus login  |

I have asked for this so many times now. At first Admin was sympathetic and said they would look into it but last time they stated that I should just hide my profile when I logged in. That doesn't stop messages from people who have messaged before, or people seeing me on the forums, it only takes me off search.
It would be lovely to be able to just log in without being pestered but it seems I'll just have to get used to it. |

As a computer geek its not actually that hard to do. Many fems and couples on here get put off with the amount of messages they get and are possibly missing the genuine people and meets on here.
This function could only be seen as positive |

oh one more thing if ya not interested in anyone who has messaged you block them and they cant do it again. If Admin allow anonymous log ins, wont that open the door to real nutters |

To be honest, if people used their filters they would limit the amount of mails they get.
This function wouldn't stop unwanted mails when they made themselves visible again.
For us, when we get too many mails we hide the profile for a bit.....ok that doesn't stop us getting some mail , but we can just ignore any mails we don't want to answer at that time.  |

I just keep my profile hidden most of the time and am filtered to the hilt
I perv in stealth mode and talk on the forums unless I am in the mood to talk
Strangely still get a few messages through though saying 'love the profile' lol |

I think the admin here needs to make the Send Message button appear inline with the filters set on the site...
that way if someone sets their filter to receive messages only from couples, females or males, the Send Message button will be shown only to those that fit that criteria.
Where that should change is if the person is a friend, then the send button will be shown permanently. |

What you are asking for is a temporarily invisible login (but with the original members credentials being supplied).
If this were offered - the members would have to be restricted in what they wanted to do once logged in to prevent stalking etc. |

Nothing would need to be restricted, bar maybe chat feature. Face book let you appear offline, only affects chat, everything else on site can be used.
Can't see why same feature couldn't be applied here, shouldn't have to hide profile just because want to check messages, or post in forum without being disturbed by new messages coming in because you are showing online |

It would be a bonus to have in the privacy section:-
Appear offline (hidden) Show me
all facilities available except chat (cos to chat means you gotta be online right?)
A few tweaks and it should work a treat  |
