One frustration with fab is when travelling abroad Why is Fab not global like other sites eg SDC and AFF. All inferior sites but better for hooking up in other countries.

I spend half the year in Europe love to be able to change location

It would be helpful but fab would presumably need far greater resources and it could lead to conflicts with resource allocation for its core markets against those others.
Fab is a free site, with much work done by volunteers. If it expanded, it would need to increase significantly, the volunteer resources.
Sometimes when you're very good at something, it's very higb risk to diversify. If they degraded the quality of fab for us core users, they may struggle to ever regain that loyalty.
Obviously the site owners know their strategy as well as their own reasons for operating fab. They review all feedback, so changes could happen. |
