All site supporters have a link to test it on the chat entry page.
After we've tested it and are happy we'll replace the current chat with new chat and it will then be open to everyone.

Not at the moment but we plan to allow this. We'll also increase default text size because it's too small. |

Hi, I think that we may have an undocumented feature. When swapping between rooms lots of names move as well. Clicking on the name of a docked cam I dont get the appropriate profile but the profile of the undocked profile on the left.
I hope this either helps or explains my lack of understanding.

Overall a fantastic improvement in quality of cams. I think that opening multiple rooms can be of use but you need to know where you are - mods will have a field day!
Also interesting that you can watch a cam from a different room.

When pm'ing, the window jumps on screen at first but if you want to chat in room again the pm window goes behind chat window and you have to minimise room window to get to the pm's again |

its quite good i do like the private message function, but not sure how easy it will be to mod if members and mods font exactly the same, hard to distinguish. Any change of being able to alter font at all |

All in all I think the new chatroom has some great potential.
One thing I would suggest for it which I did not see in previous feedback is the ability to put the room users names in alphabetical order like the old room. I found it so useful for finding friends rather than trying to find them through a mess of names. Ither than that just the same suggestions as already mentioned.

excellent ...the text and font size colour as mentioned before, but other than that i think its great.

Does it show on your profile if your in the chat room?
and if a couple we want to chat is on line as well, can we click on the icon and takes us straight to that profile in Private mode?
Guess if this can happen, filters need to be available to stop some being swamped with PM...lol
I have windows 7, and have issues with flash player, does it run in Flash?

Cam quality is much better.
PM option is soooooo much better but screen disappears when you click to type back in general chat.
Text size is small and text colour, font options etc would be fab.

There seems to be problems for the couples that both log into chat on the same name.... they cannot see each others chat, so miss half of the convo... |

wat about audio? in old chat plane u can hear audio even if cam not on, but in the beta room nothing happens wen u click on audio, u can only hear audio if cam on too.. might be us not knowing how to use it but thought we would just say incase its a glitch...  |

Just a little niggle.
Us ppl who have small laptop screens (we both have 10 inch netbooks) can't see the bit on our own cam to turn off the cam or the audio.
Also on these size screens the dock for cams takes up the entire bottom half of our screens.
Maybe a way to resize the windows to suit if this can be done? |

We can size of cams configurable so more suitable for netbooks.
In meantime press F11 to get more real estate in chat we've tested on a netbook works fine when full screen

Cam & Mic settings... I can't find them.
Using Safari (browser) for Mac OS 10.4.11
All I've used has worked fine, cams look fab! Other issues have already been mentioned.

great new chat room... only issue i had, was when had a cam docked to view, when clicked on persons cams profile name, it brought up a random profile and not the cam persons profile. other than that love it |

i think the new room is cool apart from both me and buck come in at same time so thats not good plus we like our colours as we know who it is by there colour . just my ten pence worth .... ta from dish |

I'm having trouble with flash, no 64 bit, so using 32 bit with win 7
Win 7 flag thingy says Flash stopped working 70 times, lol not just FAB....

love it cams soo much better, little confusing as yet, but i am dizzzy, keep up the good work, ohh andunlike old chat room, two people under same nick cant go in chat room, shame as me and my partner, dont live at same addess in the week, so we both cant go on, so he cant prev me like in the old chatroom and dont really wanna make seperate profiles, too confusing for people. Would be nice if like the old chat both can go in with same nick, |

yep I agree with Bish, i aint a couple but i know there are loads of couples that chat like this with different colour fonts but same name, specially in wales room mostly couples, would be good if they can have that amenity back |

The new Chat looks good.
You seem to have the font and colour issue in hand.
Other than that, I can't really see the need for Latest box. Perhaps the default Chat Room box could slot in it's place, so it's always available, rather than hidden in background. |

seems ok after a 5 min look around
though the private chat seems to disappear behind the main chat window.
any way you can tab this like IE or Firefox?? would make it easier rather than resizing windows. |

Not so sure that we need the flags and icons underneath the name of the room in the list. It only makes the list longer and if you stretch it to fit, it covers the cam window, so maybe the room names without the flags ? |

Cams are very clear but font is to small. Every time u click on a name it opens profile not where they are from. Do you need to know who joined ? if so its 2 small to reed if there are a lot of peeps in and out. |

i may have missed it but how do you change font size and colour i cant sit closer to screen and being givena colour when you log in is confusing.
Additionaly how do you turn someones audi off when you are looking at ther cam short of turning off volume.

You can set PM+Poke to be anyone, friends only or no-one from the drop-down above the chat room list.

Well done guys, looking good so far.
After a wander in there for 30 mins, my comments:
+ Pm windows go to background when typing in main room
+ The top of a PM window dissapeared off the screen so I couldnt close it
+ All three cams I was watching froze, when I closed and re-viewed they were just white screens (members said the cams were on)
+ Audio seems to be on as default as you turn cam on, users could be caught out by that.

new set up will b great for cam viewers.. res and clarity are gr8.
but one problem will b in the size of the chat box for busy rooms.... alot of ppl find it hard to keep up in the rooms atm wen rooms get busy... smaller window will make this problem worse |

Dont like that idea.
We dont do it, as we only got one comp, but lots of our friends do, and we like being able to chat to both.
Plus, I was planning to buy a laptop so when I am away I could log on even if Jayne was in too, now it means I got to have another profile? |

Won't load for me
gets to 35 of 36 elements and stops.
Using windows 7 (new installation)
Latest opera (10.01)
Clean install of latest flash
lots of ram a cpu time free.
Tried turning both my firewalls of and so on
Will load in IE though, but I dont use that as hate it lol
Is it compatible with opera and win7 ? can anyone else get in with that mix?
