Reverse image searching

Not sure if this is an issue that's come up before, but there seems to be an issue with reverse image searching pics from the desktop website -v- from the mobile site.

Often we reverse search from mobile and get results showing the image is on the web, but can't report from the mobile site. So we reload the desktop site and double check the search, only to find that it doesn't show up in the results.

Figure this is because the desktop site has the FabSwingers watermark on the photo, whereas the mobile site doesn't, thus making the image "different" enough.

Also....why can't we report images direct from the mobile site?

I can't answer regarding the difference between mobile and desktop site but reverse image search, by whatever means, is not infallible as a lot of members post on other sites..

"The modern world we live in.. reverse image Search should be banned. "

Why? When we put our images on the Internet, they become publicly accessible and we are wise to accept that we have lost any control over them. Reverse image searching is just a specific type of search upon data within the internet, ie images. Some who earn income from images are able to track others who may be in breach of copyright or fraudulently earning from them.

For swingers, it's an extra way that we can help to validate that people are who they say they are. And not a very distant porn actor, who's having their pics misused by others.

Totally agree as it also helps to prevent further criminal activity and the safety of others...

I use it on the mobile site all the time no issue. But I use more than 1 reverse image search site. I open Fab in Google which is the easiest way.

Why, it is very useful. Without it we would never have know that three American pornstars had moved to the North East in the last year.

Why ban it? What possible reason could you have against people making sure that the guy or girl they are chatting too isn’t a fake?

Either I'm being dim, or it's my phone / Chrome browser, but on my mobile Fab, I click the Fabber, click their Public Pics and I see them all with no report links anywhere. If they are paid users then I can click the picture for a bigger version and still no report link. What am I missing?

My apologies, you are right. I thought you meant when looking through new public photos, rather than looking through on someones profile xx

No need to apologise....wouldn't be the first time I've missed something blatantly obvious in front of my eyes
