Bit of a strange one here. We woke up this morning to a verification for attending a club/party night that we weren’t at. On Discussion with the party organisers it seems our names were used/written down in error on an attendance list (hopefully not someone impersonating us!). So the verification was an honest error by the organisers, for this reason we are reluctant to block them to remove the veri (as may want to attend a party in the future!).
The problem we have is, we haven’t been meeting/playing for the last few months due to a family member being ill and therefore wanting to protect us/them from any colds/flues/covid etc. Our friends and contacts have been very patient and understanding but it now looks like we’ve made a sneaky club visit. (Even if we don’t display the Veri, it shows in the summary that we’ve been verified on this date by a couple’s party profile ).
So… is there no way of removing a verification entirely (without blocking the verifier). |
