There are other smilie threads but they're all either dead, irrelevant or derailed.
I was wondering why smilies don't appear in messages or on status updates. I'd've thunk it was the same code across the site so implementing it shouldn't cause too much hassle.
tl;dr - why no smilies outside chat and forums? |
