How can the site guarantee that a photo with a piece of paper with a date and name on it held in front of a face, or indeed a face photo can prove who the person really is without knowing the people personally? |

The PV system is to help to show that the person who has set up the profile, is indeed a real person.
Imagine a profile with pics of Kate Moss on it.
Said profile wants to get Pic Verified. They would have to ask Kate to hold up a bit of paper with her username on it (Bint_kate_moss) and 'fabswingers.com' on it. See the flaw there? She just wouldnt do that would she?
But, if Miss Normal Person joining the site, who was a genuine female wanted to PV, she could get the said bit of paper, write her username on it (along with fabswingers) and stand infront of a mirror in such a way it was obviously a female and take a pic. She would send that in to the special link where only Admin see these pics and Admin will verify that its a genuine pic and set the Green Flag.
All it does, is prove that a person is real. Doesnt prove they are not timewasters, just that they actually exist.
Obviously, not every system is fool proof so you need your own judgement on people, but its a very very good start in seeing that a Fem or MF account is real.

Our photo verificaton was removed after over a year of being verified.
The reason? Because it didn't show us naked or show faces.
The photo.was taken with a self timer of me and my wife holding a piece of.paper we were both holdin, also it was a full length body shot of us both stood together. The paper had our details written on it.
We have been members since 2006, have verifications from other members of fab, pay our member fees, contribute regular pics and keep our profile up.to.date.
We also meet regularly with other people from this site.
Is this not enough to be verified as genuine? |

1: Hand write fabswingers.com plus your username on a piece of paper
2: Photograph yourselves holding the piece of paper (your hands must be clearly visible holding the paper) (we need to either see your faces OR the photo needs to be nude and full length if you're concerned about privacy).
Here are the requirments for doing a PV.
It sounds like you have had an answer from Admin of why it has now been rejected so I am not sure what starting threads will achieve ( this isn't the first )
If you have more questions about your rejected PV then use the CONTACT button...but it looks to me like they have answered you already. |
