This is happening more & more & appears to be deliberate, as only started recently.

Bit of a desperate a way to get attention tbh.

Can it be stopped please?

Single women have been doing this to get to the top of the Couple's Hot Pics for ages. I guess it's even easier for them to reach Page 1 of the Men's section. Yes, it's annoying!

I guess all you can do is report the prolific ones. I imagine it's a difficult thing for Mod's to manage.

No it isn't difficult for a mod to do. When someone uploads a pic the mod should change what sex they are if it is the wrong one before approving. If you report it can be changed
