I use the message filters but sometimes take these off, eg: if I'm organising a social etc..
When they're off I get messages from people outside my age range and if they've sent a polite message without the "wanna fuck" type stuff, then I want to reply with a thanks but no thanks, but this then means they can mail me again when I put the filters back on.
I understand the people on a friends list or people someone has winked at who may be outside their preferences / filters being able to mail them, but would love it if admin would look at changing the "if you've mailed them" part of this and re-think it.
Currently it just stops me sending a no thanks message and just deleting (which I don't like to do when someone has sent a thoughtful / polite etc message)
