Please! Allow us to edit a forum reply or post for five minutes after posting - too often have I replied and noticed a spelling error or stupid auto-incorrect and had to delete the whole post and do it again.

Agree. It would surely save lots of deleted and re written posts.

Fet has a short period where you can edit.

There is a preview message option before posting.

Which is just the same as viewing it after posting. Surely that is easy enough to check before pressing post message?

I agree that an edit feature would be useful.

Yes sure we can preview but sometimes an error can even be reviewed upon previewing.

It's a good suggestion.

I'd go as far as to say I think the person who starts a thread should be able to edit THEIR OWN posts for the whole duration of the thread
