Ignore users in newsfeed

Hi,

It would be great if there was an "ignore" option that prevented Local Updates from "ignored" users but without blocking them so that they could still send message if they wished to contact someone who was hiding their updates.

Is this something that others think would be useful and if so, would it be possible to implement on the site?

Yes

We rarely block,unless 8n extreme circumstances,but there are many an update we would sooner not see in our update feed.

I totally agree with this, there are people I would rather not block, as I have no reason to, apart from that I don't want to see their updates or pictures.
