One thing I wish fabs would change. How trans people are viewed. 8m a trans woman, I'm not a TV but I can only identify as TV on fabs. It's quite an old fashioned expression now and is often used as a term if abuse towards the transgender community. |

If, as you have stated in a previous post, you are legally a female, why not as others have done, identify on here as a female? You could always perhaps add a paragraph in your profile to make it clear. |

Completely agree with OP. If everyone read a profile properly then yes you could just identify as a woman, but we all should know by now that they don't. Unfortunately for the OP this could lead to abuse when she reveals this in any conversation. A simple change in how the site works would elleviate the problem |

Ultimately, this should only be a consideration for us, those who are trans/TV, eg, not for the convenience of others.
There are hundreds, if not thousands of posts on this. I view the current fab system as good, like many others. We can also contact Admin, if we are appropriate and want, to change categories. |

Personally I don't call myself either in person, I know my profile text specifies TV, but that's just because I personally see somone as a TS if they live day to day as a woman, I dont(no matter how much I would like too).
Because In reality I dont know "what" I am. I'm am just me though i try not to label myself more than that. I dont see the word TV as abusive at all tbh though.
You state that you can only identify as a TV, seem to be missing the /TS

OP, if I'm reading your profile correctly, you are still going through the change even if you identify yourself as female. Therefore, in my opinion, you are in a correct (even if very vast) category. As you are pre-op TS. When all your body parts are respective of the gender you identify yourself with (basically, when you get your "designer vagina"), that's when changing your Fab category to "female" would be appropriate. |

Yes but that's why I see myself as transgender. Terms are important. Legally I'm now classed as female but, if I put female there are some people who would take issue. While I do live and I'm legally classed as female there are too many instances of transwomen being assaulted when men discover they've not fully transioned. That shouldn't happen but sadly, that's the world we live in. |

If I read your post correctly you see pre-op transgender women as transvestites i.e. men dressing as women
Sadly it's 'gender critical' views like this that give power to the anti-trans lobby.
Reducing men and women to nothing more than their genitals or reproductive system is archaic and demeaning to everyone not just transgender people.
Not every transwoman can have the surgery, there can be medical issues that preclude it.

Thank you, but I will stick to my guns. I do understand not everyone can have the surgery, and some are happy not to have a surgery. However, I just don't find pre-op TS/TV attractive, no matter how convincing they are. I'm sorry I'm old-fashioned and like my men to come with meat and two veg and my women with boobs and pussy. Not any other way. |

There should be a separate section for transgender and non binary. Then the people who are part time cross dresser but identify as a man have there own thing. I don’t like cross dressers but do like trans women so searching for trans women is hard because so many cross dressers come up |

I agree there should be separate categories.
TV is very different from trans.
Also I think trans should be used instead of transsexual.
Transsexual can be misinterpreted as transitioning sexual orientation when it it doesn't. |
