Can something be done with meet locations?
The "South west" covers the most southernly point up to swindon - so searching for meets in SW is pointless as it covers 250 mile 5+ hour drives, and then it would exclude 1hr drives just across the border.
The site has functionality to roughly calculate location from town or postcode, so why can't meets have a town or postcode and then be searched based on your location criteria? It works for profile searches.

Such changes definitely needed, alongside other what seem like basic aspects of site search functionality, including searching based on all characteristics of users.
Users adding their own specified distance criteria, not limited to fab 'regions' is a fairly standard type of search requirement. The site has this working in 'Advanced Search', in the current limited form.
Meet Now, is a very limited interest in fab. Most people want to get to know others in advance, I believe.
Perhaps there's an additional requirement, for notifying interest in getting to know others, for potential future engagement. Users could switch their being turned on for this, somehow? It could reduce the load on users who aren't particularly interested in such things currently. |

mile radius's doesn't work on the north wales coast as Liverpool comes under the 15 mile radius, its the hour drive and 30+ miles to drive round and under the rivers they don't take into account. |
