More choice in gender options.

Would it be possible to add more gender options for profiles?
Having a blanket term of TS and TV doesn't really help anyone out. If there were options for different gender identities it would be a benefit for the LGBT community as well as people searching.
To add to that, instead of having couples profiles as mm, ff, mf. Would it be possible to just have couple then the choice of genders while completing the name, age, body type part? This would leave the option open for trans couples or couples where one is trans. |

My aim isn't to argue or cause any offence to anyone, I just want people to have more options. I believe that with more options there's less risk of people being harassed or becoming subject to any discrimination. |

Personally I would just have:
Male
Female
CD
Trans male
Trans female
Trans other
Obviously the other category could probably be worded differently but the sentiment would be trans but not identifying as male or female. |

What else is there? Non-binary isnt a sexuality or a category of biological sex - it is a category created ex nihilo for people who simply do not feel they consistently match up to gender norms (as though anyone conforms to the stereotypes of masculine/feminine at all).

TV and TS are not exactly the same no, that's why they are separate words. But saying they are not remotely close isn't exactly correct either tbh. |

Transvestism isnt related to GID/GS. Wearing womens clothes as a kink is not the same as having gender dysphoria or having a different adopted gender to that assigned based on biological sex. |

It is exactly that clear cut. Autogynaphilia is in Blanchards typology of transgenderism and i think that's problematic in some ways but the same is true of many presentations of transgenderism - ASD women have an extremely high rate of presenting or identifying as ftm transgender, for example, and it isn't clear that this transgenderism is actual GD/GID rather than a confusion arising from ASD experience and reading of gender norms and an inability to differentiate non-normative (non stereotypical) traits from being trans. The desistance rates in trans kids into adulthood is consistently measured at 70-90% and there are numerous studies that show accepting ones homosexuality is a factor in resolving teen GD.
Wearing womens clothes as a kink is not being transgender - it is the fetishisation of the female form and a desire to possess it. It is also commonly a way to accept ones homosexual tendancies or possibly an sort of mosogynistic humiliation kink. Blanchards autogynaphilic aside, transgender and transvestite are not the same thing |

I don't get how TVs/TransGender/Cross Dressers are all in the same bracket on this site...We all know this site needs upgrading |

I'm concerned because on more than one occasion I've been approached by a MF couple to then find out a day or 2 later that they are 2 biological men trying to arrange a meet with me. I'm sure you can agree that for me that is particularly frustrating because I'm not interested in men or "man pussy"
I naively thought that coming on here and appealing for greater choice for profiles was better than reporting the profiles in question.

Yeah I agree. We are a couple that have TS/TV profile so we can’t even publish males face as there rejected and I do want to show as MM as one half is Transgender and MF isn’t an option due to the abuse we get having MF profile from other users. Please be more diverse same would be required for fabguys too. |

For every one person who says "im part of a transgender group" there is probably another 5 who are not. I personally dont care and dont find them offensive in anyway |
