When reporting profiles the captcha never works first time around. It always says it is incorrect and to tap back and try again.
The thing is it's not incorrect though. I've checked before and after and taken screen shots showing my identical entry beneath the displayed code.
I've taken screen shots of the page before hitting submit and confirmed that the codes match.
It always works on the second attempt after refreshing and getting a new code.
Perhaps it's a site caching issue, if someone reports profiles a few times per week, the captcha gets confused because of stored cookies and cache? I don't know, I'm grasping. What I do know is the codes match but the website says they don't.
Have only tested on mobile site via phone, which is limited to occasions when profiles actually need to be reported.
Have screen shots if admins need proof. Same issue on Fabguys.
A few people have reported the same issue and been told they're mistaken and must have input the wrong code, but to make sure I wasn't blind or crazy I screen shot the last one before submitting, and they 100% match. Still got the error. |

I don't have this issue, but I find that if you get one wrong then correct it and try again - it also says it's wrong even though you know it's now correct. You have to log out and log back in to Fab again, do it again and then it works. This is on Chrome on Android. |
