Twice now we’ve had our account suspended for deigning to mention other contact sites in messages to other Fab users.
Why is Fab so paranoid with other sites? So much so that emails are blocked and Fab customers can’t mention other site names without suspension!
The site is U.K. based. Freedom of Speech is a right, we do not live in a totalitarian state. But Fab administration believes otherwise.
Perhaps they’d like to justify their stance which dumbfounds us.
After many years of subscription to Fab we’re thinking it’s time to move on to a less paranoid platform... |

Why do they need to justify anything? At the end of the day, you're using a private platform which you only get access to by accepting their terms and conditions. Ergo you're not entitled to freedom of speech. Fab admin can suspend or ban you for whatever reason they feel that falls within their terms and circumstances conditions. If they felt you breached the terms, they'll suspend you.
Exactly the same rules apply to any other social media type site and certainly does to other swinging sites.
That is just how it is I'm afraid. |

My partner tried to message someone and fab said go back and remove the website mentioned.
He had no idea which one fab thought he was talking about but altered his message and sent it again.
He is now blocked for a few hours, it would make it a lot easier if fab could highlight what words they find breaks the rules.
He is totally in the dark as to what he has done wrong.

If Fab had a built-in messaging platform there wouldn't be an issue. Fab Chat is terrible and mostly disconnected from the profiles.
I appreciate that Fab is not expensive, but it could be so much more intuitive and have better navigation.
Stopping anyone adding links to other websites or messaging platforms is just daft. |

Sorry OP, but them's the rules.
Fab have made it perfectly clear that mentioning competing websites is not allowed. |

Freedom of speech is not absolute, particularly on private platforms |

All swinging sites we have used in the past are the same. They all have rules and T&C's. If we don't want to stick with them we don't join or leave.
As people have found out some things are not allowed on site, I am assuming you mean you were blocked from sending mails OP for a couple of hours.
Admin have lots of spammers who promote other sites which becomes a problem for genuine users as they don't want to get mails like this, if you are mentioning other sites in mails then it will trigger a block |
