Now I understand this has been bought up several times before. But I’m just adding an idea in, why not have the meet search criteria be met by distance from yourself like when you do an advanced search ?
This would eliminate all the problems about places being many many miles away from their supposed location.
Surely not that hard to implement considering we can already do it in another form?

We agree. In the posted meets / events search it world be much better if we could narrow the search area to say 20 miles from ourselves. The north east is a big place.
Surely it cant be that hard to impliment on the site can it? |
