Status updates

Has anyone else experienced their status suddenly being deleted. It’s happened to me twice this week, neither status contravened any rules as far as I was aware. Is this just an over conscientious moderator or a new policy?

I should add that these statuses were not removed after two days as is customary but within a few hours
