As a site there needs to be more focus on stopping fake profiles
They cause abuse
They waste all of our time
Suggest - All accounts to be pictures verified by admin before setting them to a live account |

Agree! I don’t buy the need of privacy argument as it would only be seen by admin. Yes I appreciate some people get round it, but it’s a start! |

Admin have always said they have no intention of making PVs mandatory.
You can set filters so that non verified profiles can't mail you, tick the Verified Genuine when searching and ignore those that don't have your required green flag icon. |

I agree that something needs to be done. Others sites make PV compulsory after a set time and limit the amount of messages in a 24 hour period. The site doesn't benefit from these people so why encourage them. |

Don't reply to profiles that aren't photo verified, if you think that's a way to vet fakes. |

But admin have said they're not going to force verification - so you'll need to take it into your own hands |

You'll never stop fakes. All the time they get their kicks they will always be a thing. |

Funny you mention this. I just created a thread with the exact thing that there are a lot more fake profiles on here.

But tbf PV isn't going to stop the dreamers that enjoy the chase and have no intention of meeting. These are always non supporters filling in the boredom. Some are photo verified to try and make it easier for them to get past filters.
Admin won't help so just accept it for what it is. |

Or you can just ignore the profiles your not interested. You can slove your own problem by filtering them out anyway?
For the record I've met 3 guys from here who wernt verified and didn't have any pics up here either. Just as someone people choose to not be verified or have pics dosnt mean they are fake. Leave people to run their profiles how they want. |

It is impossible to stop all fake profiles.
Even enforcing photo verification won’t stop the problem, it’s easily faked.
Use the message filters. Sure it may mean you miss out on some genuine ones but it will certainly reduce the fakes. |

Choice I am guessing. If you think a profile is fake Admin will always check it out.
If you use the search and filters provided you won't have to come into contact with anyone without a PV or verified and the site will work for you how you want it to |
