Would this ever be implemented where you could set a filter to only accept messages from people within say a 50 mile radius? Although then it would stop forum people from possibly messaging.
I just don’t see the point in messaging someone 100’s of miles away. I don’t want to have to block all males because it’s not possible to search all areas and some can slip through the net.
Just getting loads of messages from outside Wales and it’s annoying. |

OP, that's a bit harsh about the rest of the nations in the Union.  What about making friends? I guess if it's optional, it's not a bad (and workable) idea. |

Yessssssss this would make my time here so much easier! Currently I can choose to accept messages from every man on the site, or none, with age being basically the only filter. Distance for me would be amazing. |

I do like a bit of effort, I'm not arsed how big or winding your message is, show me the distances you are prepared to travel on my list 
Kinda lets me know how much effort your likely to put into other things |

I'm not willing to travel far because I'm busy and frankly can't be bothered to sit in a car for hours. Doesn't mean I won't put the effort in when I do meet a guy though. |

I don’t think the distance you’re willing to travel has any reference to how much effort you’ll put in upon meeting. I have narcolepsy, if I drive for too long I would fall asleep. I fall asleep on trains and have missed stops. I can’t do long distance. Plus when someone is travelling to me for a first meet it puts unnecessary pressure on me. I never know till I’ve seen someone in the flesh if I want to even kiss them so to have someone travel a long way, for what could possibly only be a coffee just seems pointless. |
