People with multiple profiles

We have been on this site for quite a while and had our share of time-outs for one thing or another.

My question though is that there are people who are currently posting in different topic threads using different profiles and who regularly change their profiles.

I get it that it is a free world, but the integrity of this site is compromised when a person posts under two, three or four different personalities according to the topic thread in which they are posting.

For example a person can post controversially about bareback under one profile name in Swingers chat, invite people to meet on holiday in Spain under another profile and post antagonistically on the politics threads under another profile name. When caught out, or banned with one profile, they then set up another one and start all over again.

I get it that it must be a colossal waste of personal time to be playing games like this but it does affect the integrity of the site when regular, long standing profiles get caught up in a controversy with someone who plays the site like a game.

I don’t dispute that. But if you a genuine profile and have been on this site for years, it is normal to react and respond to threads and it somehow feels like the site is devalued when others are operating multiple profiles across multiple sections of the site in order to portray a specific image that is relative to the topic that they are responding too.

We are not all Detectives, but as you navigate the site over the years and recognise sentence forms and common syntax from seemingly different people - it really does give a bad impression.

I have to agree with the OP.. If you consider a couple can have 3 profiles between them and often more than that because they fancy adding some extra ones it can be really frustrating for someone wanting to communicate and keep a track on things discussed or people.. If we did not have this 'free' membership I would say the numbers of genuine memberships would be easier to manage.. The fact anyone can create a new profile account as many times as they like for the same person.. But without supporters pass is fairly pointless in my opinion.

Additionally, yes the site is meant to be fun.. Though I would suggest working through fakes and all these additional free accounts . The ' will fill in later / I am a (age) and I'm looking to meet ().. Really has started to grind my gears.. makes this platform a hell of a lot less fun than it could be for everyone .

Simply stopping the free aspect of the site would hopefully make things a lot less confusing and hard to manage? maybe even make people work a bit harder at maintaining a decent profile people would like to get in touch with too ..

The site is free to join and most things are free to use

It is against rules to do what you describe. It does happen, it has even been known for people to actually answer themselves to keep up the charade but mainly it is used for them to validate their posts.

If you report so Admin can check it will be looked at, also the returning profiles please

I guess it's human Nature to try and be who you think others want you to be rather than who you are but there are a few diamonds in the rough out there if you look for long enough

We have two profiles, one for general meets, the other , Mrs nw likes to cam on and organise her solo stuff.

I've come to the conclusion this is a sort of perverse hobby for some people...and its certainly not just single blokes pretending to be couples etc ...I have come across two couples that I know have other (different) profiles...that I think (one through personal experience) they use simply to a pain with ...

Arrange things and not turn up

I dont know how they do it but they are also well verified..
