Its about time the virus heading was deleted. There are way too many discussions that cross with peoples emotions.

It's all we see daily. Virus this virus that. It's just the wrong place for these debates.

Virus discussions should be hulted going forward.

Lots of people still use the virus section of the forum. If you avoid looking at it the site will work the way you want it to

.......

Lot's of people still use that part of the forum. So the suggestion was valid.

It is easily avoided by anyone that doesn't want to see or post there by simply not clicking on it.

It’s a bit like any other part of the forums really.

Arguments kick off and things get heated. What starts out as a reasonable thread gets volatile very quickly.

Overall the Covid section is useful and certainly still current.

If you remove it, those discussions will still happen but in the Lounge.

It's better that they are categorised away so people don't have to look at them (same with the Politics channel)

Exactly - at least with a dedicated section you can avoid it if you don’t want to view it.

Agree too. Has been a lot of hatred in some of the posts on there.

hiding from cock pics.

If the virus forum was deleted, would not that mean virus spreads are all over the other sections?

At least with the virus spreads being in one place people can choose whether to read them or not

I think in general it provides helpful information that most of us would not be familiar with so it's interesting to a point with some if any guidance

The virus section is used far more frequently than, for example, the Canada forum.

I think the virus section will still be very useful for information when people start going on holiday again.

I think so Sally, the virus is still very much with us, albeit, not as bad as some countries.

It's largely full of regurgitated doom and gloom from those who can't be bothered to find out the truth for themselves but somehow still feel they have a right to pass on their ill-advised thoughts - but hey ho, let's celebrate that we still just about live in a country where it's legal to do that and give them a space to do it where the rest can escape it by just not entering!
