Does anyone know the exact reasons for emojis showing as "??" on every desktop browser and phone I read messages on? We only see the "regular" icons below. I thought it was people on iPhones adding their own icons that other platofrms didn't have, but seems to be the case with other people using other desktop browsers. I'm guessing it's meant to be a UTF-8 code, but reading the course code for the page even, I'm sure they are "real" question marks, so my browser couldn't possibly interpret them as anything else if it wanted to..?
Trying it on Chrome and Firefox under Linux, and Chrome on Android on the m. site, everything shows just straight question marks. |

They are emojis not used on the site. Like if i was on my phone and used a emoji from the keyboard like you would in watsapp if will just come up as "??", whille if i used the emoji provided they work

I don't think anybody sees them as the actually emojis do they?
The site just doesn't handle them and stores them as ??
It would be good if FAB would be updated to allow unicode emojis seeing as they are universal standard. |

I see them on my mobile
If I use the ones off my phone. If I press press post message the ones I use show up on the forums as question marks.
The site imojis are at the bottom |
