Section on your profile re Forum posts

We would like to see a section that lists our last 5 forum topics that we have posted to so people can see if we have posted a story or contributed to a topic. Often we have looked at a friends profile and then stumbled across a forum post (story etc) that they have started and we would like to comment on it or contribute.

Yep . Green arrow next to their name . However this can only be seen on the forums and not on profiles

Yep.

Please add the green arrow to the profile.

It might also help guide some new people to the forum, as many don't even think to look at it.

You can check to see if a user has posted on the forums by clicking 'view recent posts' (or click one of the green arrows) and deleting your own/the user name and typing in their name, in the web address bar.

That will show if that user has posted in the forum and if they have their last posts.

You can, but a button on the profile would be much easier and obvious.

Sounds like a good idea and interestingly would give an insight into the character of the person behind the profile. If you found their train of thought and comments to be in tune with yours it could seal the deal, lol!

Another site where I'm a member has had this facility for a long time - I'd have thought it should be simple enough to add to the menu list on the left side of each member's profile page...

....especially as it already exists within the forums by way of the green arrow - presumably that system could be adapted/extended?
