So you can block people on the site, and yet you can still see and interact with them, and vice versa, in the forums...? Is there any way to block people in the forums also?

No you can't block them so you can't see their forum posts .

So you block someone, as they’re clearly a nuisance, but then in the forum they can see and comment on all your content, and continue to be a nuisance there, meaning you have to avoid the forums while they have free reign. Great functionality that...

If they use the forum to try and get round the block or break forum rules in any way report them. Otherwise carry on using the forum and avoid them

Yes because people should be adults and be able to ignore the people they don't like. You cannot use the forums to get around blocks and directly interact with people outside of the forum topic.

If we had blocked you and couldn't see your forum posts, we wouldnt be able to see 2 of the 7, and 5 out of the 7 posts on this thread would make no sense whatsoever.

God forbid we'd blocked you and 1 other contributor and you had blocked us.

What a mess and nonsense the forums would be.

You will not have had a ban for just replying. You will get a ban for trying to contact someone via the forum you know has blocked you. It is highlighted every time you respond to a forum post.

Do not use the forum to try and contact people who have BLOCKED you.
