I think it would make it easier to make an informed decision.
I don't have safe sex listed as an interest but I don't have any interests listed. I foolishly assume that people use condoms... a very naive assumption.
I don't think it's right to make assumptions either way - and anything that clears up any ambiguity would be a good thing.
I don't think that barebackers should be villified - anything which encourages stealth (in both senses of the word) promotes risky behaviour.
If the barebackers could be loud and proud (some of them are anyway) it would help be people to make a more informed decision.
That can only be a good thing. No? |

It’s strange that as adults we need something externally to set the rules. If safe sex was taken out of the options would everyone be having unprotected sex?
The answer to that might be yes given the number of daily positive results.
Who knows, I’m no longer surprised or dismayed by society behaviours.
Swinging has changed a lot through the lockdowns. But in the end I think this subject, bareback sex, is up to the individual, it’s not like there isn’t plenty of advice on sexual health and contraception. |

I don’t think that last part is true , I would suggest that there are hundreds if not thousands on here that list safe sex and still play bare ( either from here or in normal life ) .

I am still of the opinion that it is not a great idea to be actively assisted in seeking out people who practice unsafe sex.
It's true, consenting adults can do as they please and I am not here to judge anyone who plays that way.
People who practise safe sex can and will continue to use protection and minimise the risk to themselves.
