We are only really on here to keep in contact with friends and if we put up a status for friends we get bombarded with mail from loads of people who some get abusive if we don't reply.

Turn message filters on only people you have chatted with you can message you than. |

As above, if you put on all message filters then no one your haven't spoken to can message you |
