Why can’t it say on a profile if people reply or not?

On the lines of say this profile only replies to 5% of messages as in 95/100 are ignored. It would then let us know who are time wasters and who not to bother everyone would win. |

So someone who doesn't reply is a time waster?
Couldn't be anything to do with they ain't into you/your profile doesn't spark their interest in you? So that makes them a time waster?  |

Timewaster those who don't read a profile to see what the other person wants or is looking for is a time waster of their own time. I rarely reply or take ages to reply to those I want to, does that make me a time waster? |

This boils my blood!! Just because someone doesn't want to engage in conversation with you does not automatically make them a time waster. There are a plethora of reasons they may not reply!
I can't stand guys who make such a song and dance about demanding a reply 'even if it's a polite no thanks'. If I replied to every single message I get on a weekend I would be be on for hours.
Surely it would make someone a bigger time-waster if they entered into conversations and ping-pong messages when they had no desire to meet. |

People's prerogative to reply or not. Just apply to more hopeful people and you'll strike it lucky. Put plenty in your message so the person is more inclined to read it and then give you a polite rejection by reply if you aren't on their list. REMEMBER : You have to be in it to win. Better to have tried and failed than not tried at all. |

Yesterday we had three messages from straight guys, but it clearly states on our profile we only meet bi guys
That’s without at the start of our profile it says we are not meeting due to Ben’s recovery from an operation, so if we don’t reply we must be time wasters !!! |

Be great if profiles said "this person sends x amount of messages to them who don't have oral sex listed as an interest" seeing as the OP only has that and safe sex listed as interests. I like to think the OP hasn't really thought this through before posting. |

The ones that send multiple cut n paste generic messages and have a sense of entitlement to a response |

Or "the person sending this message has sent X amount of emails, which are 90% identical" to show who is cut-and-pasting |

Honestly I don't think it would put many people off messaging anyway, seeing as a lot of men seem to have a scattergun approach where they just throw everything at it and see what sticks. |

Also I think it would just open people up to more abuse. "who do you think you are, only replying to x percent of messages, don't you know in the real world you're nothing" etc etc |

It's always men who question why they don't get a reply! Single women get inundated with messages more than men realise and it would take hours to read them all and reply to them all plus if you say no thanks you get replies asking why not, or abuse and name calling
I believe Fab do say no reply = no interest |

It's not rude not to reply.
Some ladies and couples get hundreds of messages a day so it simply isn't possible for them to reply to everyone. If you don't get a response, you should assume they aren't interested. If you're getting a lot of "no-replies" then you should consider your profile and the messages you send. Are they giving the right message? Are you standing out from the thousands of other guys on here? |

Whilst I get the what the op is trying to say..
Many females and some couples don't do themselves any favours (see it from both sides as we have a singles profile and a couples one).
They wink/message/contact you first, then ignore any potential responses OR reply with single words.
I mean, thats fine for me as I want my mind stimulating as well as my sex organs so they just go to the block list..
But I can see how people get to the point of tarnishing women and some couples with the same brush.
Easier just to move on and block.
(At least you won't see them pop up again) |

I find 99% of the messages I get are self centred. Focused entirely on what they’re after. I’m meat in their sandwich, I’m their chance to tick a few things off a fuck list, or I’m just required to drop everything and head right there for a massive whatever stuck in my where ever.
I am a waste of time for those people, yes a total waste of time, for those people. X |

So many angry people I guess you all don't use your filters properly and delete all your messages.
The OP has a point what's wrong with people knowing if a profile hardly replies or not and lets be honest it would stop a lot of people mailing people who don't reply and wasting everyone's time.
Granted nobody has to reply to messages thats a given but if someone only replies to say 1% then they are not using their filters properly (couples stating no males on their profile but haven't blocked them).
Alas it might kill the ego trippers on here who never really meet or chat though. |
