"It's at the bottom of the homescreen "

Unfortunately it was "temporarily" stopped in July last year for an update and has never returned!

I think they just gave up on sorting that feature out. It would be great to have it back working

Be nice if we got an update on this as it was only supposed to be a temporary thing. Seen as though other features are out for covid it would be good to get this one back.

"What did this feature actually do ? You can have notifications of having received a message in your settings."

From Admin's introductory thread

"Jan 2016: This thread for feedback on android notifications, which is going live soon on mobile site.

We can send notifications of new mails (and more, later) direct to your device notifications screen. It is opt-in. The opt in link is at the bottom of the mobile homepage (if available)

Works on android phones with chrome browser (the default browser) from v42+. Won't work if you're browsing using "incognito" mode.

Feedback welcome.

Does it work? Is it useful?

etc.

Admin x"

Unfortunately it stopped working reliably, I suspect that something in Chrome changed.
