I think it’s pretty pointless having images of say 3 years old and above. We don’t need a visual history of people’s antics, we like to see what they look like as close to present day as possible.
Someone can change massively even in three years, so would it not be best to have images of a certain age drop in to an unviewable folder? Or archive? That would encourage people to have more recent, more honest images. Just a thought. |

"Good idea but how do you know that any picture that is posted wasn't taken years before anyway!!!! "
That’s a fair point. However, I’ve just been sent a photo via pm and it was from 2013. I understand people want to show themselves in their best light, but my brand new car from 2013 doesn’t look the same today, if you catch my drift.
I’ve heard from many people who’ve had meets and the people they’ve met look nothing like their photos. Maybe it’s just us, but we like to be honest about what we look like. |

Easily solved without changing the forum pic settings and affecting all those who want to keep their old pics (and those who appreciate them)
If you’re considering meeting new people, just ask for a new selfie etc stood next to today’s news channel on tv, or holding newspaper etc
The direct pic function allows this. |
