We've set our filters to not allow mail from anyone without public pics, yet we get messages all the time from people with not only no profile pic, but also no public pics, sometimes just friends only ones. Does this filter actually work? |

Someone told me that friend only pics count as public as far as the filter is concerned. Still no idea if it's true or if above, people set a pic to public simply to send a message. |

"Friends only pics are considered public as far as that filter goes rendering it useless."
That makes more sense than people displaying/hiding pix.
Yep it's a crap filter that doesn't work.
Sort it out please FAB or remove it.

Oh people are doing that too, I've seen it a few times when message landed into my inbox and I went straight to the profile the same second. A pic was public. Read the message (took about 2 seconds) and then went back to the profile - public pic is gone. |

We just send those messages straight to the bin as either the sender didn’t read our profile or they are being deceitful just to make initial contact.
I was going to say maybe a one hour delay on changing pic status would work but then they’d just delete & reload the image to friends only.
