What is the system in place to filter pictures before they are attached to a profile?
Considering the huge amount of fake pictures that we come across from doing a very quick reverse image search that take less than 10 keystrokes.
Surely it would be easier to not allow fake pictures be published rather than having to issue warnings to members or remove them altogether.
It might be just us but the number of clearly fake pictures appearing in our news feed have risen sharply in the last few weeks.
Is there a moderating team on this site? |

I see tons of fake pics on here but i know the mods do their best to avoid such stuff to be put up on here. Their voluteers after all and as with all of us have lives outside fab. Report it so much easier for everyone.
P.s
Mods do a great job in my opinion |

There are exceptions…. We have seen a profile who's pics pretty much all come up on tin-eye etc….
Yet we have seen the lady in question on cam and it was a genuine cam. Turns out that they posted many of their pics on adult pic sharing sites…. and they got 'shared' from there. They expected this and weren't too bothered.
I think ppl put too much trust into tin-eye etc… pics can genuinely be out there on other sites but many obvious fake pics tin-eye doesn't identify. Its gotta be human judgement at the day, using tin-eye is just a guide not a definitive.

We found a couple using old pics of us on their public page even though they are photo verified!! Reported it and asked admin to recheck their photo verify picture and see it is a different girl!! The photos have been deleted but the profile was allowed to stay. Not very fair IMO but what can you do, they'd just open up a new profile albeit possibly be unable to pic verify... |

I had 1 guy who had a massive tribal 1 going down an arm but in all the other pics it was missing or a totally different tattoo on the same arm lol if your not gunna show your face in pics at least check before putting them up they match! lol |

I have not had much problems with pics but I do always chat on cam either here or on msn that way you know exactly what everyone looks like. J |

"can never understand why, on a cpls profile, one of them has to take thier own photo in a mirror "
Possibly the other half works away from home and they took the photo to send to them while they were away, and then uploaded it here!
Possibly the other half was out and they thought - I look great, oh I wish he/she was here to take a photo, oh hold on I can take my own photo in the mirror and hey presto they did!
Possibly ......... etc etc etc!

We know a site that that is 90% stolen pics, we have seen ours on there (hence we now put our user name on them) we have seen others from this site and its sister site.
If you put your pics out there some toerag will nick em, make them useless to others by watermarking them or put your own stamp on them. |

Incredibly, I found the self-pic a friend uses as her profile avatar attached to a new profile. Very recent but a totally different part of the country, different age, different names etc. It's not an 'ontour' profile, its a fake. I'm amazed anyone could be so dim as to nick the pics off the very site they're joining - still, takes all sorts.
And yes, I have reported the fake profile. |
