I'm not seeing any difference.
There is an option to hide all site pics so check you've not clicked that.
I know if I've logged on, on my mobile and the signal is poor the images sometimes don't load and I get a '?' Instead but without knowing how you log on, using what, (phone/tablet/pc/browser/app) I can't suggest anything else.
