Okay so post COVID, what about the facility to invite others to private email groups for the purposes of arranging parties and such, in a similar way to What's app, but more private..? |

Still within the site? So a closed group of profiles, with the option to for everyone within the group to send messages which can only be read by that group?
The is something I've thought about for a while.
I thought of two problems with it though;
a) my limited understand of website construction may be incorrect, but I believe setting up a private group area is quite complicated, so would probably only be open to paid members
b) this opens the second problem of non-subscribers. How are they involved with the group, can they be invited? What happens if their subscription expires, do they lose access to the messages?
I think that's why people resort to KIK groups instead. |
