MacMillan Charity Night @ Townhouse Wednesday 21st August

We are pleased to announce a charity night at Townhouse in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Everyone is welcome.

It will be a social based theme in the bar and lounge area with plenty of chat and mingling but upstairs will be business as usual, The hottub & sauna area will also be open as usual.

We're going to have a short quiz and and also a raffle (any prizes you would like to donate would be more than welcome).

Dress Code : Before 10:30pm

Ladies : Dress to impress. Smart, Sexy, Sassy..Glam it up!

Guys : Dapper is best but otherwise dress to impress our ladies.

Dress Code : After 10:30pm (if you want to wander upstairs)

Ladies : Sexy lingerie, wraps, bodysuits, play costume, robe, towel

Guys : Boxers, shorts, towel

No tracksuits, sportswear, hoodies, caps or scruffy workwear

We're also relaxing the dress code rules to include dressing gowns or robes for males and females as this is a newbies event, we'll also arrange a dedicated private dress down area/room for anyone who doesn't want to get changed in the open changing room.

The event will be held at Townhouse, 9 Union St, Birkenhead, CH42 3TL.

Doors open at 19:00 and closing time is 01:00. Please arrive by 9:00pm if you've not been before so you can be given a tour. Last entry will be 10:00pm for those who have attended before or are Townhouse members,

There is plenty of parking available as Townouse have the use of Bookers car park during the evenings. Please don't park on the street. Green Lane is the nearest train station which is a 5-10 minute walk, there is a bus stop very near which is on many routes and for anyone stopping locally there are taxi details and suggested local hotels on the Townhouse website.

Entry price is a flat £5 per person with any profits, after costs (venue costs are being subsidised by the organisers), going to Macmillan Cancer Support.

You will need £10 as a locker key deposit and drinks are available from the very reasonably priced and well stocked bar, This bar includes a huge selection for any gin lovers from the oriGIN bar. For a list of available drinks and an up to date price list check the website.

If you need a towel, one can be obtained at reception for a nominal cost of £1, or you are welcome to bring your own.

If you are not a member of Townhouse, then please bring either your driving license or two forms of ID - one must be photo ID as well as something with your address on, such as a utility or mobile bill. Members simply need to show their membership card.

But I'm strangely drawn to the relaxing of the dress down rules to include a dressing gown.

Wandering around / chatting away in my boxers and dressing gown sounds like a great laid back event and evening

Curious toe dippers, I like that phrase.

Most definitely will be a great opportunity for anyone to support a great cause for the evening along with possibly satisfying that curiousity and intrigue in stepping through the doors to the club for a first time.

And it's always a pleasure to have the chance to meet anyone new along with catching up with people you know.

Driven by like-minded interests but still so much uniqueness and personal experiences and desires within everyone.

For me, having attended previously other social nights that have taken place outside of clubs. The principles of the social is exactly the same.

It is a gathering for like-minded people with interests in activities in which you meet and spend time with other people. A perfect opportunity for those new to the scene, those curious but yet to dip their toes into meeting people or those social butterflies who enjoy the pleasures in meeting new and old friends, to gather and enjoy the delightful company around you and possibly make new acquaintances or friends.

The fact that this is in the club, doesn't change the focus of the event from a social evening for all to enjoy time raising money for a great cause. The advantage of moving it to the club is that you know everyone around you is their to support the event and also part of the curiosity around the lifestyle. ** This doesn't mean that all conversation will be about sex!!** But conversations don't have to be as hushed or you don't have to wonder if someone around is actually part of the same party / event.

It also provides an extra curiosity / intrigue opportunity for those who are interested in stepping through the doors of a club to see what it is like.

Ultimately it's a bringing together of people to enjoy themselves and enjoy the company of others over the course of the evening.

If you've been to the club before! then it's just the same principles. Attend, enjoy the pleasures the club and evening brings and if you find yourself in a situation where you want to go off and explore the club or maybe have the opportunity to experience further personal encounters? Then you can do.

But if you just want to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy new experiences making new friends or chatting away downstairs? then that is always perfectly fine and a thoroughly delightful way to pass an evening in the club.

It'll be a great evening, you know you'll enjoy it and we are all raising money for a great cause.

Of course you can be and of course we will be

We think it'll be an ideal night for all, options to just stay downstairs and fully dressed, go wild with a robe or dressing gown or make use of the upstairs facilities, no pressure on anyone to do/or not do anything or to dressdown or not.

The main priority is to raise some funds for a good cause in Macmillan and to enjoy ourselves doing so.

The waxing is happening, Mr TongueNCheek33 is geting a back wax, anyone who sponsors him £5 gets to rip a strip off but all other donations are also welcome.

NYCSavage also has has name down, same rules apply, but if we get enough donations he will also go to a professional for the sack and crack done too

Good morning everyone.

Today is the day

Just a couple of bits of important info to remind you all of :-

Doors open at 7:00pm and closing time is 1:00am. Please arrive by 9:00pm if you've not been before so you can be given a tour. Last entry will be 10:00pm for those who have attended before or are Townhouse members. The quiz starts at 9:30pm so we suggest everyone is in by 9:00pm if possible. I.D. is only seen by Townhouse staff on the door and is kept confidential and not shared with us as organisers, etc.

You do not need to be a member of Townhouse to attend this event but you will need to be on the guest list.

To gain entry you will either need your Townhouse Membership card or bring I.D. one form of I.D. has to be photo I.D. and another has to have your current address, a Photo driving license counts as both or other examples would be a passport plus a recent utility bill, council tax bill or bank statement.
