LAMchester is Manchester's first monthly alternative market. From the organisers of LAM our events combine the best of fetish shopping, social, education and a chance to play, held on the fourth Sunday of the month.
Based in a central Manchester bar notorious for its clean interior and style we provide a full schedule for those who want to have a full day out but also appeal to those who want to pop in for a bit of shopping or to catch up with friends.
One of the key elements fo LAM has always been the workshops from technical presentations and discusions through tot he ever popular Healthy Mental Practices with TheKinkShrink we hope that what we share is of value to established players as well as those just starting out.
Our crew is made up of a range of people some with years of experience and others relatively new and "learning on the job".

Back for the third instalment of LAMchester.
We've got a fabulous selection of stalls this month, selling everything from latex and leather to feathers and floggers, paddles, collars, wax and much more. Come and get your perfect fetish outfit or a fantastic new toy!

We have a change of venue for this month so will be able to provide you with a bar service but sadly no food. There are however a number of food options just a few floors above on the street level.
While different to our usual home at Revolution Deansgate locks we felt it was more important to keep consistancy with the event than to skip a month so soon, especially with so many Manchester Pride events on and ClubX the night before.
Located in the heart of the City, the LAMchester is held at:
Brickworks under Barton Arcade, entrance via the rear of Barton arcade (furthest from Deansgate) M3 2BH.
The Market opens at 12pm and closes at 6pm with our decadent and debaucherous After Party running from 7pm-10:45pm.
Entrance costs to the Market are just £6 before 2pm and £7 after. Tickets for the After Party are £5 each if purchased before 5:30pm and £10 after that. Tickets are purchased on the door.
We have replaced the draw with an "in it to win it", mark yourself as attending via FetLife or FaceBook and we will draw two names from each at the start of the event which will be displayed on the front desk, if you see your name you get to select an envelope, each month they will contain £5, £25, £50 or £100 LAM cash to spend inside the venue.
Every month we offer you entry to three workshops which are included in your entry and this month we have another great selection for you all!
1pm - Newbie Meet and Greet. The perfect way to settle those nerves. The crew will outline the do's and don'ts and give you guidance and advice on how to get the most out of LAMchester. There will then be a tour of the venue led by members of our crew.
Aug workshops;
2pm ~ Consent, boundries and negotiation with @TheKinkShrink and @Cosmic1
3pm ~ Healthy mental practises with @TheKinkShrink
4pm ~ Vibrating rope - a practical demonstration of how to make your ropes vibrate with @Cosmic1
At 6pm the Market will closes and we will start to clear the raised part of the venue first and then the lower floor area ready the After Party to start at 7pm. The After Party will as usual offer its unique mixture of play and socialising with plenty of opportunities to try out those new toys you purchased during the day or your existing favourites. There is no pressure to play and no dress code although fetish and kink is always encouraged.
Our crew and marshals will be in attendance to supervise and advise on proceedings. We also have our Crew Dungeon Monitors in place should you require any assistance.
Please remember that no nudity is permitted in the venue and no sex acts. This is due to the licensing of the venue and by breaching these rules, you jeopardise the event for everyone. If anyone sees this behaviour, please find a member of LAM crew immediately. We also asks guests to be mindful of who they invite along to the after party, after a recent incident where someone invited a match of Tinder to come along who was then disruptive to other guests.
While we appreciate LAM is a logical public place to meet kinky people if you have shown poor judgement in inviting someone who is unpleasant you may be asked to leave with them.
Car parking:
On selected streets around the venue and a cluster of Pay and Display areas within 2 minutes walk around the venue
Public transport:
The venue on Deansgate and has good connections to the local and regional buses.
We are wheelchair friendly and disabled toilet facilities are available.

What
LAMchester is a monthly Alternative Market which mixes shopping, social, education and an afterparty. We are a kink+ event and open to anyone regardless of gender or sexual preferences. We aim to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all our guests whether you are new to the scene or an old hand.
Our venues offer a clean and bright atmosphere in which to explore your kinks with a wide range of food available during the day and an awesome cocktail and wines list.
Stalls vary monthly but we aim to provide the finest makers of everything from latex and leather to feathers and floggers, paddles, collars, wax and much more.

Both Floors Revolution Bar, Deansgate Lock, Manchester M1 5LH entrance via Main Doors.
When
The Market opens at 12pm and closes at 6pm with our decadent and debaucherous After Party running from 7pm-10:45pm.

The After Party will as usual offer its unique mixture of play and socialising with plenty of opportunities to try out those new toys you purchased during the day or your existing favourites. There is no pressure to play and no dress code although fetish and kink is always encouraged.

Food
The venue has an increased selection of food on offer including vegetarian options as well as hot drinks and of course alcoholic and soft drinks including a comprehensive cocktail and wine menu.
Food is served until 7pm - the chef will try to be as accommodating with food intolerances as possible and provide a number of healthy swap out options.

We have a few groups coming to visit this event so expect lots of pups, kittens and assorted animals of the united.petdom meet.
We also welcome any kinky students with a £2 discount for the market with valid NUS ID.
Hoping the weather holds up so we can have a cage on the decking for anyone who misbehaves.
