We all

Manchester and the recent nasty events brought us all together even more so we are celebrating all that is Manchester or MADCHESTER as it used to be!

For this one think Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Oasis, 808 state, Inspiral Carpets, James and maybe even further back to a little from the Smiths, Joy Division and New Order!

Dig out your old Hypercolour t-shirts and get ready to party Cupids style - bring your own booze and we have a bar stocked with soft drinks! Shots and sweeties on the bar as always (as one regular attendee says whilst stood with his fizzy Vimto - 'Its like bunking off school'!)

The fun kicks off at 10.30am and playtime ends at 5.

Single Guys £25 (please bring photo ID if your first visit or not been in a long time), Couples £15 and single ladies £5.

Get your names below as 'If yer name ain't down yer not comin in' said in my best Manc accent.....

Has to be. The birth of the Mondays,The Smiths and little known hop hop groups like First Offence then go back to the 70s wgere the real birth of the scene started with Joy Division and tge appearence of the Pistols at the free trade hall in Manchester.

I still like a tune from the Thompson Twins and PetShop Boys though.
